I’m delighted that you are interested in joining Sense at this incredibly positive point in our history.

The pandemic has disproportionately affected disabled people, and we are determined to ensure that they have all the support they need to recover and live their lives to the full. But the determination, resilience and creativity exhibited by front-line staff across our housing, day opportunities, Colleges and other community based services during the pandemic has been humbling and inspiring.

We launched a new supporter engagement campaign, new virtual events and products, as well as hard hitting campaigns. We have developed new ways of working: greater collaboration has brought together specialists in a new way, staff have moved online, and we have supported people in new and innovative ways. Significantly, we had our most successful year in Fundraising across Individual Giving and High Value.

The lessons of the pandemic have been integrated into our refreshed strategy. With a renewed focus on impact, we intend to reach ten times as many people by 2026. Moreover, the next five years will see the delivery of a capital and revenue programme to extend our work in England and Northern Ireland. Working with our President, the Lord Levy, this will see Sense create five new Hubs in Loughborough, Bristol, Belfast, Louth and Leeds.

We are in a stronger position than ever before and have never been better placed to expand our reach and scale up our support.
